Consumer Credit Analyst
Job Summary
The Consumer Credit Analyst reviews and evaluates Auto and Personal potential client applications to determine their creditworthiness, assuring the fulfilling of all established credit policies and parameters.
He/She coordinates the collection of documentation, performing the initial review and analysis of financial data, making recommendations to the Credit Manager for approval or declination.
Essential Responsibilities
+ Receives and collects all required documentation from clients to support application requests, evaluating and analyzing information against established and defined policies and parameters in order to affect the recommendation of action â approval or declination.
+ Collects information, including credit verifications, from other sources such as banks and credit agencies to complete Consumer Loan Worksheet to aid in decisioning of applications by the Credit Manager.
+ Effects the sales process by interviewing clients to understand their financial or business needs offering recommendations from the bankâs product line.
+ Coordinates with branch personnel to affect the loan closings and bookings.
+ Reviews documentation ensuring adherence to quality standards, actively participating in the gathering, presentation and justification of documentation for quality reviews and or audits.
Participates in the development and implementation of action plans to address adverse findings of reviews and audits.
+ Participates in and successfully passes, at regular intervals, the mandatory training in accordance with BVI Anti-Money Laundering rules, laws, and regulations and such other applicable rules and regulations having regards to the level and nature of risk posed by the bankâs banking business in the Territory.
+ Performs such other duties as are assigned to you by the Supervisor.

+ The degree of judgement is related to identification of clearly defined and repetitive problems having detailed policies, procedures and technical aids and other resources to assist with resolutions.

Minimum Requirements
A Bachelorâs Degree in Business Administration is required for this job or a minimum of zero to one year of relevant experience in in Business or similar environment and one to two years Bachelor Degree in other related field of study.
