Job Description
**What’s The Role**
The apprentice will be exposed to all business areas within VPTO over the course of the program under the guidance of the respective team leads.
**ONLY AVAILABLE TO VIRGIN ISLANDERS AND/OR BELONGERS**
**What You'll Do**
Work across all areas in VPTO, along with the team leads for the respective areas, including:
**Dispatch**
+ Schedule and prioritize installation, service and maintenance calls, and dispatch activity to the field technicians and contractors within a fast-paced environment.
**Core**
+ Provide Tier 2 level support.
+ Provide country support for all projects, outages and maintenance of IP & Data networks, MPLS networks (local legs), Broadband network, TV network (local infrastructure) and support with B2B solution development and implementation.
+ Programme devices for B2B consumer installations.
+ Troubleshoot faults when reported by customers and implement resolution (data circuit solutions).
+ Drive all service installation of data circuits.
+ Work with local team on implementation and resolution of B2B solutions.
**Service Delivery (B2C and B2B)**
+ Support with the repair of installation and servicing of Cable Television, High Speed Broadband and Voice services in residential homes and SME businesses.
**Mobile**
+ Support with the operation and maintenance of all RBS, Power and Transmission equipment within a specific region, to ensure 100% availability of all Radio Base Stations ensuring efficiency, availability, and timely delivery of high-quality telecommunication services to customers.
**Knowledge & Experience**
+ High School Diploma is required
+ Technical diploma or certificate in Electronics, Computer Information Technology or related field
+ Good interpersonal skills
+ Competent in information technology principles
+ Excellent command of Microsoft Suite
+ Sound interpersonal skills
+ Good time management abilities
